Day 1
From Fez to Merzouga via Ifrane, Midelt, and the Atlas Mountains
4 days Fes to Marrakech desert tour departur. After the breakfast at your riad, you will leave Fez in the direction of Ifrane. A beautiful mountain village, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco”, and then to Midelt. During this journey, you will have a glimpse of the Middle Atlas and High Atlas Mountains. Stop in Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest where you are likely to see Barbary monkeys.
After some time in the forest, the journey continues to Midelt along the magnificent Atlas hills and mountains. fter the town of Midelt you will travel through the fascinating Tizi Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz gorge, enjoying the views of the High Atlas plateau. You will notice how the landscape changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the town of Errachidia. Here you will have lunch and enjoy the Berber hospitality. You will then travel through the lush Ziz valley, stopping to enjoy panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani. Arrival in Merzouga in the afternoon. Overnight in Riad.

Day 2
Merzouga area
After your breakfast at the hotel, you will start exploring the Merzouga area by visiting the village of (Khamlia). Then to the Mifis mines and a visit the nomadic families living between the dunes and the Algerian border. Before returning to the hotel where you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before your camel ride. Guided by an experienced camel driver to explore inside the golden sandy sea of Merzouga. Dinner in front of the tent where you will spend the night (BDB).

Day 3
From Merzouga to Dades Valley via Todgha and Tinghir Gorges
Your camel driver will wake you up early in the morning to contemplate what may well be the best sunrise of your life. You will return quietly by camel to the village of Merzouga. Along the way, you will be able to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes, which change with the light as the day progresses.
After the breakfast in the Hotel, you will depart for the Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the Gorges, you will drive through the Dades Valley, where you can admire the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey fingers”. Overnight at the Kasbah Hotel.

Day 4
Dades Valley to Marrakech via Ouarzazate Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and High Atlas Mountains.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will start the last day of our trip driving along the route of the thousand kasbahs, the valley of the roses, a visit to the oasis of Skoura with its authentic kasbah of the seventeenth century, a visit to the kasbah of Taourirt (the former residence of the Glaoui). Lunch in Ouarzazate, then continue to Ait Benhaddou, the oldest Kasbah in southern Morocco before heading to Marrakech. 4 hours drive through the Tizi N Tichka pass with stops along the way.
